Henderson Beach State Park
Florida is known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and Henderson Beach State Park is definitely on the list. The pure white sands and the emerald green water provide a shoreline that is hard to beat! Here you can catch some rays, go for a swim, build a sand castle or explore the ¾-mile nature trail that passes flowers, plants, wildlife and more!
Destin Commons
Throughout the years, the Destin Commons has been voted “Best Shopping in Destin” consistently by Emerald Coast Magazine. The large outdoor mall has a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Even if you are not buying anything, the Destin Commons has beautiful architecture, has outdoor music and hosts seasonal festivals. The atmosphere allows everyone of all ages to enjoy the commons and have a relaxing time!
Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park
At Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, you and your family can experience many special shows involving a variety of sea creatures. They have shows with dolphins, stingrays, turtles, seals, sea lions and alligators! Each show provides entertainment for the whole family. You can also interact more with these creatures on the dock. Learn, laugh and play with each creature while you are there!
Destin Track
The Track is a wonderful place for families as they provide entertainment for all ages in the carnival type atmosphere. They have Go Karts, a Ferris Wheel, several water rides, an arcade, a mini golf course and several rides for smaller children! The amusement park also provides some nice scenery as you walk around. Many spend a long time here as it provides a lot to do and is great for everyone no matter the age!
