Divorce can be a stressful process for those involved, and the changes that come with divorce aren’t always easy for those directly impacted. Stress is often paired with the process as both parties attempt to wind through the complicated path that is sometimes divorce. However, there may be a way to relieve some of this stress for Florida residents who are about to or are currently going through a divorce.
One of the most stressful factors at the beginning of a divorce may be the separation and changes that come with separation. A dependent individual can often be left wondering how he or she is going to pay for his or her expenses while the divorce is taking place, since often there is not a reason for the other individual to pay any support until the divorce is complete. This, combined with the problems of who is paying for the upkeep of the various shared assets, can create massive amounts of stress for both parties.
Luckily, the individuals may be able to file for temporary orders or temporary support until the divorce is finalized and the actual support plan goes into effect. Temporary orders can state who cares for the children, who keeps the home and who pays for various bills like car payments until the divorce is finalized. Temporary support is just that — temporary support for the dependent individual while the divorce takes place.
Temporary support and temporary orders could both relieve some of the stress that comes with the beginning of a divorce. Although these actions may not help all Florida residents who are divorcing, it could speed up the process for some individuals. This could allow these individuals to finish the divorce quickly and move on to healing their emotional wounds and adapting to their new lives.
